With stores opening at 9am this morning many chose to queue through the night to make sure they did not miss out on the one-time-only range.
Greedy fashionistas have been seen leaving stores with in excess of 15 bags, prompting one Twitter user to suggest that some probably had enough gear to open their own H&M Lanvin store.
Mannequins were even left bare in the mad rush for clothes.
While the racks were ransacked the online shop proved equally in demand, with most shoppers being greeted with a busy-try-again-later message. Those who eventually did get online were posting images of a sold out messages to warn others.
